Main Difference
The primary difference between the FIRE EXTINGUISHING SYSTEM with FK-5-1-12 and the FIRE EXTINGUISHING SYSTEM with HFC-227ea is the extinguishing agent itself:
- New FIDIAS: FK-5-1-12 – a new-generation material that is completely environmentally friendly and has an extremely low GWP (Global Warming Potential).
- Old FIDIAS: HFC-227ea – a material with a high GWP, which is subject to a gradual phase-out due to European F-gas regulations.
New Versions and Applications:
The new FIDIAS FK-5-1-12 BLACK series is offered with a highly resistant black hose, specifically designed for vehicle engines and other applications involving higher temperatures.
- Available lengths: from 0.25 m to 7 m
Service Life and Maintenance: The new FIDIAS FK-5-1-12 series is maintenance-free and has an operational lifespan of 5 to 10 years.
Technology and Autonomy: A 100% autonomous system that requires no power supply, featuring the option to connect a pressure switch (pressure sensor).
